Faces

Right at the beginning of 2020, I started a street project: In the centre of Munich, I asked passers-by if I could take their portraits. When they asked what for, I explained that my aim was to show that we humans all have something in common, no matter what we look like or where we come from. Surprisingly many agreed. I gave them and myself very little time to photograph them: in order to get the most natural results possible. Before the Corona pandemic ended this project, I had 133 portraits. Men and women, ranging in age from about 20 to 80. I asked all of them for their first name. The first, whom I asked, was Oscar.
